Vegetable Manchurian Recipe

Manchurian Ingredients:

  1. 1 small cabbage
  2. 5 medium sized carrots
  3. 4-5 bell pepper
  4. 5-7 spring onions
  5. Black pepper
  6. Salt as per taste
  7. Half a bowl of cornflour
  8. Half a bowl of maida
  9. Oil as required

 Gravy Ingredients :

  1. 1 bell pepper
  2. 2-3 spring onions
  3. 3-5 chilly
  4. 4-5 chopped onions
  5. 1 tablespoon of soya sauce
  6. 1 tablespoon of chilli sauce
  7. 1 tablespoon of white vinegar
  8. 1 tablespoon of Tomato sauce
  9. Half a bowl of cornflour
  10. Salt as per the taste

Detailed Process :

Making Manchurian Balls :

  1. Grate the cabbage, carrots, bell pepper and collect in a bowl.
  2. Cut the spring onions finely.
  3. Now add all of them in a bowl together
  4. Add salt as per your taste
  5. Add equal quantity of cornflour and maida in the bowl
  6. Try making the balls and check if they are firm or not. If not then again add equal quantity of maida and cornflour and then make the ball
  7. Heat the oil and let the balls fry till they are golden brown.
  8. Place all the ball over a tissue and let it soak he extra oil.

Making Manchurian Gravy :

  1. Cut all the vegetables of Gravy in thin sliced manner.
  2. Toss them with a little oil on the frypan.
  3. Now, once the vegetables are soft add some salt.
  4. Add a spoonful of soya sauce on the vegetables.
  5. Add a spoonful of white vinegar on the vegetables
  6. Add 1 spoon of tomato and chilli sauce respectively.
  7. Give everything a good mix and let it soak for at least 5-7 minutes
  8. Make a slurry by diluting 1 spoon of cornflour into water
  9. Add this slurry into the gravy and let it boil
  10. Now, add water as per your requirement and let it come to 1-2 boils
  11. Close the flame and cover the lid
  12. Before serving Manchurian add the gravy over the Manchurian balls and let it soak completely for a good 10-15 minutes.

Your Manchurian gravy is ready to be served.
